IPL cricket current teams profile 2020

There are eight teams for 2020 IPL cricket, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Sunrisers Hyderabad, attempting to win the championship. Let’s see the complete team profiles.
The auction for the IPL cricket 2020 teams and squres started on 19 December 2019 in Kolkata. There were a total of 73 slots to fill, relatively less than the previous editions. 29 of these 72 slots were reserved for foreign players. A total of 62 players including 29 overseas players were sold in the auctions for the 2020 IPL cricket. Pat Cummins became the player with the highest value with Kolkata Knight Riders acquiring him for 15.50 crores.
While the tournament has sent a benchmark in terms of popularity and marketing, it has been predominantly difficult to name any one of the eight IPL cricket 2020 franchises as the most popular in the league. If we do, it seems that four-time champions Mumbai Indians would be the leader. However, the truth is that it is not so easy as just a guess according to the history.
According to an in-depth analysis by ESPNCricinfo, CSK came out as the top of the popularity standings ahead of the rivals Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders. Let's wait and see what will happen for IPL cricket 2020!

The IPL cricket is a franchise-based competition with eight teams. Each team represents an Indian city. When the tournament was first founded, an auction was held to determine the cities that the teams would be based in, and also the owners of each team.
The eight teams participating in the 2008 IPL were based in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mohali, and Mumbai.
The Mumbai franchise – named the Mumbai Indians – had the highest value, with Reliance Industries paying $111.9m to own it. There have been various amendments in subsequent years due to financial and match-fixing sanctions inflicted on some of the franchises.
